THANK YOU TO OUR

IOP SPRING FORUM EVENT SPONSORS

WELCOME TO BREAKTHROUGHS IN  MANUFACTURING & GENERATIVE AI

Generative AI has been called the most disruptive new technology of recent decades. Some say AI may change every product in every company. We’re at an inflection point that’s both exciting and unsettling. How do we adapt? Who needs to be involved? How should we align? At the same time, Manufacturing is experiencing a digitization revolution. Learn more and join the conversation at the IOP Spring Forum: Breakthroughs in Manufacturing and Generative AI sponsored by IOP members Boeing and PACCAR.

In this two-part program, we’ll hear from thought leaders and IOP member companies on the edge of innovation in sustainable, connected manufacturing from the supply chain to the factory floor, plus see it brought to life in the plants and R&D labs of our sponsor companies. Also on the agenda - a look at Blockchain use cases.

We’ll explore and discuss new AI use cases, including the tidal wave of GenAI applications including Microsoft's offerings. Diverse early applications range from designing parts for spaceships to creating new proteins, to coding apps to helping people cope with ADHD and dyslexia. ChatGBT, formally introduced in January 2023, set the record for the fastest user growth, reaching 100 million active users in just two months. Revenues from the AI industry are expected to boom. Grand View Research forecasts annual growth of 38% a year to 2030 from $94bn in 2021.
